After the printer upgrade, you may be unable to print to your network printer.
If so, please follow these steps
- Ensure you are using a wired connection
- Open the start menu (Windows Icon in the bottom left or the windows button on your keyboard)
- If you are at Aurora Main Campus, type \\hedgehog
If you are at GWC, type \\peacock
If you are at Woodstock, type \\ostrich
If you are at Orchard Center, type \\kiwi - File Explorer will open, please select SecurePrintCanon, right click, and select "Connect"
- If prompted, please enter your credentials
- The printer should start installing. Please wait for the prompt to disappear.
Your new printer is now installed. You can confirm by opening "Printers and Scanners" in windows settings. The new name of the printer is "SecurePrintCanon on" and then the name of your print server. For instance, for Orchard Center, it would be "SecurePrintCanon on Kiwi".
